The history of the Haban family began in Vienna in 1926, when the trained watchmaker Anton Haban opened his first watch and jewelery shop. Originally he wanted to be a car mechanic but couldn't find an apprenticeship and instead opted for the world of watchmaking. His successful career in the watch and jewelery trade began with his training as a watchmaker.
